Who we are
Magical Book Maker helps families create, read, share and print personalized books. The service is operated by AAI Agency, doing business as Magical Book Maker, at 18383 Preston Rd #202, Dallas, TX 75252, United States. Contact us at support@aai.agency with privacy questions.
Information we use
We store account details such as your email address and display name. If you use Google or Apple sign-in, the provider shares the identity details you authorize, such as your email address and available profile information. Google sign-in requests basic identity information, without access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or contacts.
Your family workspace can contain member and child profiles, book text, character details, pictures, conversations with Lumi and generated content. Personalized stories can include information about a child or family. Provide only information you want the service to use and have permission to provide.
Files attached to a Lumi request are processed for that request. If Lumi pauses to ask a question, those files can be held temporarily in private storage. They expire after one hour and are removed when the request resumes or by scheduled cleanup. They are not saved as attachments to the book or conversation; the resulting text and pictures can be saved in your workspace.
Voice features process audio to transcribe requests or provide narration. Purchases create order, credit, payment and refund records. Print orders require a delivery name and address and may include delivery contact details. Stripe handles payment details in its checkout.
We keep service records, including generation requests, outcomes, errors, usage and costs. Vercel Analytics collects website usage information to help us understand how the service is used. Our analytics integration removes private book-sharing tokens, invitation tokens and sign-in fragments from page addresses.
How information is used and shared
We use this information to sign you in, maintain your workspace, create and edit books, generate and check pictures, provide audio features, manage credits, process purchases, fulfill print orders, send service emails and resolve problems.
Our service providers include Supabase for authentication, database and file storage; Vercel and Railway for hosting; Anthropic and OpenAI for AI features; Stripe for payments; Lulu for printing and delivery; and Resend for email. AI requests can include your instructions and the relevant text, images, files or audio needed for the feature. A print order sends the book’s print files and delivery information to Lulu. The information processed depends on the features you use. These providers also maintain their own privacy policies.
Workspace members can access content according to their permissions. Sharing or publishing a book can make its content available to others. Review content before sharing it, especially when it includes information about children.
Family and account controls
Parents and guardians manage family workspaces and child access. Account holders can edit their profile, export account information and request account deletion through Account. Some workspace ownership or membership conditions must be resolved before deletion can proceed. Contact support@aai.agency for help with access, corrections or deletion, including information about a child.
The browser stores sign-in and workspace state needed to use the app. Signing out or clearing browser storage does not itself delete information stored with the service. You can manage your connection to Google or Apple in that provider’s account settings; disconnecting it does not itself delete your books or account.
Storage and retention
Saved workspace content remains available so you can return to your books. Operational logs, provider records, backups and purchase records can have different retention periods. Deleting a book or account does not necessarily remove every related backup or financial record immediately. Contact us for information about a specific record or deletion request.
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Access controls and encrypted connections help protect information, but no service can eliminate every security risk.
